The ACASOM 0.9 GHz RF Power Amplifier is a transmit-channel RF amplifier designed for operation across the 800–1000 MHz frequency range. The module is intended for RF systems that require amplification of the outgoing signal and operates on the transmit path only, without amplifying the receive channel.
The product line is available with 10W, 20W, 40W and 100W output power options, allowing the appropriate configuration to be selected for different RF system requirements.
For the 40W version, output power is specified at up to 47 dBm. Gain reaches 37 dB and can be adjusted across a 25–37 dB range.
The 40W version operates from a 28V supply with specified current consumption of 3.3A at 28V. Efficiency is specified at 45% at 46 dBm, while approximately 10–11 dBm input power is specified for reaching 47 dBm output.
RF input and output use SMA Female connectors, simplifying integration into compatible RF chains, transmit systems and laboratory equipment.
The 40W version features an aluminum enclosure measuring 96 × 53 × 17 mm and weighing approximately 150 g. Additional heatsinking or active cooling is recommended for sustained high-power operation.
Specified operating temperature is −30 to +85 °C, storage temperature is −40 to +150 °C, and operating humidity is below 95%.
